We Trees

My sweet wife takes our dog Stella and me for walks around the block, sometimes twice a day.  Large oak branches reach over some stretches of the road.  For the past couple of months those trees have been releasing acorns.  As we three walk some of those nuts make popping noises as they crack under our shoes.  Other nuts shoot down the street like hocky pucks.  Sometimes one even drops precisely at the moment we are passing for a bullseye on a head.

Trees let their nuts go every year.  Imagine years and years of nuts  hanging on those branches.  Eventually the whole tree would come down.

Might be good to act like a tree…get rid of nuts, you know.
