"At Some Point"

At Some Point

We seek control and maintain what we can until we cannot pretend anymore.  At Some Point most of what we control is relinquished, even down to the most mundane of matters.  I’ve heard this moment can be freeing as all the things previously deemed crucial fall away until all you see are loved ones.  But getting to that point…even the thoughts around it, are unsettling.  So we find ways to distract and numb ourselves in mass movements.
