Veil 51

Veil 51. 2015. Mixed + digital media on paper. 11″ x 14″. Gregory Zeorlin

This piece seems like a good way to step into the first day of May 2015.  Spring-like in color. A little patch of spring green beneath the figure’s feet. But, what’s the black column doing imposing upon this soft happy moment?

  1. Your short blurb got my mind going with this picture: the block between the person and part of the rest of the world; the rip where time and space warp into oblivion; the sudden encounter with a macro or micro perspective. When I clicked on the picture, and saw it enlarged, I enjoyed it much more. I especially enjoyed the precise contours of the architecture in the midst of the scribbly and washed-out areas.

  2. I enjoyed reading your thoughts on Veil 51. As you point out, we are in the large world and macro simultaneously. This makes daily life an adventure and your comments add to it. Thanks.
